The owners are super friendly, they treated us very well. The breakfast is super complete. They recommended a pasta restaurant for dinner that was incredible. We would definitely come back!

Menyediakan pemandangan taman, Hostal La Minga di Chaitén menyediakan penginapan, taman, kawasan pantai peribadi, teres dan restoran. We stayed in the cabin rather than the main house and loved it. Beds are super comfortable, shower has lots of hot water and good pressure and everything runs off solar there so although portable phone chargers were de rigeur and wifi didn't always work in our room, it was always perfect in the main house. The kerosene heater heated up the place in no time and it stayed toasty warm. Lots of blankets, too, if you prefer that. Klaus and Marcela are wonderful hosts and we enjoyed a couple of excellent home cooked dinners with them as both are excellent cooks. Breakfasts are equally delicious as bread and spreads are homemade and their coffee is some of the best we've had in Chile. Really, our hosts are what made it truly special to stay there. They are delightful, friendly people and they went out of their way to help us with some issues we had with our car rental. Klaus speaks excellent English in case your Spanish is as shaky as mine. The hostel is located a couple of km outside town, but it has a lovely stony beach just a 3 minute walk away for relaxing and watching the sunset and looking for seals and dolphins. Very peaceful. Due to issues with the satellite reception, we had to pay in cash, and we had no luck with the only ATM in town, so prepare accordingly.

Warm, cozy, relaxed, great location, quiet, best breakfast in Patagonia, great shower, comfortable bed… really a great place to stay and hang out in Villa O’Higigns. Also, Carolina is a published author on the arts and crafts of the region and a very interesting person to talk to (even though we have minimal Spanish). Highly recommended!

Right from the time of arrival, we felt at home and the hospitality was great! The free breakfast was amazing as well, providing coffee, fresh bread, fruits, juice, and Kuchen, and they even cooked eggs to order. All in all, an amazing stay!

We felt like coming home. Andrea and Esteban were incredibly accommodating, providing us with valuable travel tips. Despite our late arrival, we were greeted with tea and cake, which was a delightful surprise. The heated bed blankets were perfect for the rainy night. The breakfast was excellent as well. We wish we could have stayed longer and can wholeheartedly recommend this place. 100% recommended!
