We were lucky enough to go on a drive on our first day and spotted some grizzly bears! What an experience. The hospitality at the Lodge is second to none, with tea, coffee and biscuits available throughout the day. Not to mention the beautiful breakfast which included fresh berries from the garden. What a welcome to Alberta!

We were there for over a week due to issues getting into our new home, but the hosts were amazing! Many great conversations and laughs! We were given interesting information about the town.. where things are, just basic information that anyone new to a town would appreciate. I felt like we made 2 new friends. Can't say enough about our stay there... Plus on these really chilly mornings, sitting by the woodstove felt great!

We shared the apartment with another couple yet their room was off a side corridor making both areas very private. The lounge in the common area was super comfy. We had a car and there was parking on site. Edwina was very welcoming.
