The Aviator Room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Newly remodelled, it was a welcome respite from the stormy (and extremely rainy) weather outside. We could sit inside on the comfy couch and watch the waves crashing on the beach. We were waiting for a medical delivery while we were there, and Peggy went out of her way to help us. We'd definitely return on our next trip to Oregon.

The Hotel is in front of the beach in a very convenient location. The outside fireplace was beautiful.

They did not give us a quiet room at first. I went downstairs and the young women at the counter took care of it right away and gave us a much better room.

The Rodeway Inn Newport hotel is less than one mile away from the Oregon Coast Aquarium and provides easy access to a number of local attractions.

The view is great, friendly staff, clean, comfortable. We did not see any whales, not even on a whale tour so that might be a trick to lure tourists. But we saw seals and others in the harbor.
