B&Bs in Bagamoyo

The place is a gem. A beautiful private house with a lovely garden and a nice swimming pool, guarded, fenced and secured. A nice shaded sitting area in the garden with birds, herbs and green all around you, free coffee, tea and water. Ally is an amazing lady - one of these colorful, knowledgeable and funny old Africa hands that you hope to meet during your trip in the continent. The rooms are large and airy, bed is super comfortable and the shower is hot. The ladies working at the place help you in any way possible and if they can not - then Ally is always there to advise. Amir, the tuktuk guy, will take you anywhere in town any time of the day for a very small fee. We loved the place and felt sorry when we had to leave. Highly recommended!

Room small but comfortable. Kitchen facilities and decor good. Price is good value and goes towards supporting a children's charity operating in Bagamoyo working with orphans and disabled children. Definitely a good travellers place to stay near town and beach.

It was a so great time to spend at Mikoko.The cottage was amazing traditional and quite private space for spending 10 days .The restaurant can enjoy the beautiful nature green view with great meals and night bar.Staffs support were excellent that I always felt safety and happy to be like a real family.Thankyou so much Mikoko!
