We had the pleasure of spending two nights at *Guesthouse Planinski Dom Majerhold* in Logarska Dolina, and the experience was absolutely wonderful! From the very first moment, we were impressed by the attention to detail—both inside the guesthouse and in the beautifully landscaped garden. Nestled near the forest, wooden figurines placed at the edge create a magical story, inviting children to explore and let their imagination roam. Our hosts were extremely kind, always attentive to guests’ needs, and their hospitality made every moment special. The food was delicious, prepared with local ingredients, turning each meal into a true journey through the region’s authentic flavors. Our room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had a warm, welcoming atmosphere. And the view from the garden toward the mountains was truly breathtaking—a perfect place for relaxation and contemplation. Additionally, the guesthouse provides a children’s play area, and even an outdoor fireplace. The location is ideal for exploring Logarska Dolina Park, and the proximity to attractions such as Kapela Kristusa Kralja and Sveti Duh added even more charm to our stay. We wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for an oasis of tranquility, comfort, and authenticity in the heart of Slovenia..

- We liked everything about the guesthouse and the room. We used it as a base for visiting Logar Valley but also driving the scenic route nearby. - Sonja was extremely helpful and kind, such a great host. - Super tasty breakfast with locally produced break, honey and jam. - Clean, comfortable room in a location surrounded by mountains. Take the time to explore the area, even on foot there is a river 5' away for a nice stroll along its bank. - Very highly recommended.

It is really family hotel, because Natasha and Primoz - our hosts are hearty and cheerful people :). The room was clean, breakfest was tasty and fresh. After exhaustive and impressive day while admiring beautiful country Slovenija (eg. Dolina Logarska), you can rest in hammock and relax. Worth staying here, even if you travel somewhere further ! Very cute and clean room. Came with a towel and body soap. A desk. Bathroom was very clean and comfortable. The gentleman at the front was extremely kind and helpful. I paid for breakfast and got so.much.food. It was delicious. The town is adorable. I wish I had more time to explore it further I stopped here before heading up to Logar Valley (which is amazing).
