Was made to feel extremely welcome by the host, Mary. Super chatty and friendly, and made me feel really at home and looked after. Comfortable room. Great breakfast. Spotless bathroom/kitchen. Great location for the hike up to the Pouakai Tarns. I would love to stay again, and can't recommend the experience enough.

So lovely to be given fresh vegetables, bread and milk, and even fresh carrot juice! Also loved the farm tour given by Jodi while we there, which enabled us to learn more about regenerative practices. Both Tanya and Jodi were so generous with their time, and lent me a bodyboard and flippers for a swim too. Recommending this to all our friends!

Great location a few minutes drive outside the main bit of the town. Amazing view of Mt Taranaki from the balcony. Brad was a fantastic host, lovely eggs cooked for us every morning straight from his own chickens!
