The guesthouse is super cosy. The beds are really comfortable, the shower is hot, and the location is perfect. The owners are friendly and incredibly generous as well—Agge went out of his way to take myself and a friend to the airport. Plus, they let me do laundry for free.

Wow! This was an absolute gem of a hostel. Could not recommend it enough. We stumbled across it by chance as we wanted to stay somewhere close to the monastery. The husband and wife team running it were amazing - so friendly and helpful. We had a double room on the ground floor which was huge and really modern which I wasn’t expecting in UB! However the real treat is the modern open plan kitchen/dining area and roof terrace at the top of the guesthouse. We had breakfast in the sunshine enjoying the view over the city - wonderful. And then after a day of sightseeing we picked up some beers and enjoyed them in the setting sun on the terrace. So good. This is a brilliant hostel. Don’t hesitate - book it!!!!

Impeccable location, very close to the Sukhbataar Square. Facilities are clean and well kept. They offer airport pick up and tour also. It has made my solo trip to Mongolia feels safe and smooth. Every cabin is equipped with lamp, electric plug, and curtains. Wifi works well.

Toroo, the host, was very welcoming and accommodating. We used their shuttle service from the airport which was helpful and convenient. The guesthouse is clean and cosy. The location is perfect. We enjoyed meeting other travelers. Good value for money, we'll stay there again. Story worth sharing: a couple of weeks after our stay, we went camping solo 120km away from UB and I got violently ill. It was late in the evening, a day before busy Naadam, and we needed a car to get us back to UB for medical attention. We texted Toroo. He responded quickly and empathetically, went out of his way to find us a driver, and sent him to us. Toroo did all that out of the kindness of his heart - not something he made money from. I'm eternally grateful 🙏

Despite seeing very few reviews for this hotel, I did not have high expectations initially. However, I was pleasantly surprised. Out of the five hotels I stayed at in Ulaanbaatar, this one was by far the cleanest and had the best service. The bed linens and towels were impeccably clean, and the kitchen was spotless. While breakfast wasn't provided, the kitchen was available for use without any restrictions, which was very convenient. The check-out time was also very reasonable. There was no ethnic discrimination, and everyone was incredibly hospitable. If I return to Mongolia, this hotel will be my top choice.

    It was my second stay in this hostel, and juste like last year I had a perfect time there! Everything is well organised, comfortable, from the breakfeast to the beds! The team there is always ready to help and organize the stay, in the capital or everywhere else in the country, before and during the trip ! The hostel itself is perfectly situated in the city center, in a quiet and safe area with everything you need around! I recommand 100% staying in this guesthouse, and I'm sure myself I will come back next time!

    I stayed 10 days at Gana's in 3 different times in 3 different rooms. All of them were very comfortable, i felt at home after long, tiring, uncomfortable adventures in Mongolia. Managers are helpful -and not pushy-, good professionals. Stable wifi, nice-even luxury- private bathrooms, hot showers, comfortable beds, quick and good laundry system. At a silent neighbourhood, very close to Gandan monastery, close enough to city center. Definitely good price. Thanks for everything 🙏
