It was simply awesome! I would have loved to stay longer. this is a place for nature lovers! the staff organized a full day safari for as and the transport by boat to Kalpitiya. Tarique has an incredible knowledge about the animals, the landscape and the locals. in the morning, there are monkeys, birds and other animals. we were told that an elephant is passing by sometimes as well. the food was excellent and varied. the service was like in a 7 star hotel. everybody was very kind and helpful. I really love the sustainable and nature friendly concept and you can feel that it comes deeply from Tariques heart. I will come back for sure!!

The Sanctuary is an outstanding place. The building itself it’s beautiful designed and decorated, fitting in well to the natural surroundings. The room and all the fittings feel high quality and a luxurious, a real treat when budget back packing. The nature that it is surrounded by is truly beautiful and peaceful. The perfect place to sit back and relax! What makes The Sanctuary so special is the staff. So welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Their knowledge of the animals and plants that you will see on walks around the premises is amazing, so well educated and genuine. The food cooked by mum is 10/10 and you will not leave hungry. They made our safari day so enjoyable and truly perfect!! I can not recommend this place enough, it’s a new venture for the team and they do it so well!! Thank you so much to everyone involved.

Ram has been an incredible host, making our experience truly amazing. aside from the beauty of this place, the comfort, the equipments made to enjoy without worrying about anything, he and the chef made this stay outstanding. they showed us their garden, we could enjoy learning stuff with them, talking for hours, having all our needs and beyond their priority. really, i would not recommend any other place in the area if you are into bohemian luxury and sharing with the locals.

Harshan will surely remain one of my most beautiful encounters in Sri Lanka. With his finnish friend, Inna, we remade the world around squid in coconut milk From the garden/grilled fish (bought together not far from the fishermen) and good local béer! recommend these paratas for breakfast. This is exceptional place to visit if you want to learn/progress with kitesurfing or find new friends. The location which is few minutes (boat trip) away from the kite spot are perfect and quite. The Atmosphere in resort is very friendly and polite. The team and family make your stay comfortable. They take care of everything.

Wonderful place, quiet farmhouse in the middle of a agricultural fields and close to the national park. The facilities are brand new, rooms was super clean and bed was confy. We had the opportunity to cook our meal with Sajith, the care taker. Great experience overall, we will come back definitely!

We initially planned to stay at Agro Village Kalpitiya for just one night but ended up staying for two. The wonderful host, Pereira, took great care of us. The food was so delicious that we had all our meals there during our stay! The shrimp and tuna were incredibly fresh. There's also a massage hut on the property where a masseur comes by appointment. My husband and I enjoyed a great massage in the evening at a good price. Nearby is a fantastic beach with a bar (next to Elements) and a kitesurfing school. I highly recommend visiting—it's a quiet, empty beach with wild donkeys roaming around. Our son was absolutely thrilled!
