This is that rare gem you’re looking for. Probably a once in a lifetime experience. The room feels authentic, is comfy and cozy. It has a big closet to stow away all your luggage to keep the room as aesthetic as it is. The view is breathtaking, mesmerising and iconic above all. Hana-san is the most friendly, helpful and kind host! She even gave us a little memoir of our stay there which is the most heartwarming thing ever! The rooms are very clean, comfortable and super spacious. We had a traditional Japanese style room, and it could have easily fit one more person. The value for money is just superb. On top of that a small free breakfast buffet and free parking spots are offered as well, so truly nothing to complain about! We are so glad to have met Hana-san and stayed at this beautiful place.

Incredible experience. Maybe the best one yet! We spent the night playing card games with the two owners as well as another guest. Although the owners don't speak English, communication was always easy as they have a device to immediately translate from Japanese to English or any other language and vice versa. They often helped us plan our itinerary for the next day. The beds and comforters were so comfortable and we could see Mount Fuji from our window. There were bathrooms on both floors but the shower rooms are on the first floor so plan your baths carefully. Would love to come again.

We booked this room spontaneously when we decided last minute to extend our stay in Fujikawaguchiko. The staff was exceptionally friendly and stayed up longer for us to let us check in after 9pm when we took way longer then expected to get down mount fuji. The room was adorable, we booked the classic japanese room with tatami. They also provide classic western mattresses for people who don’t want to sleep on a futon. The location is amazing, right next to the main station. We’d book this place again.
