I loved everything. The host was very kind, helpful and fast to reply. The communication was excellent. The breakfast was delicious. The room is very charming and relaxing. The welcoming foot bath had a very nice smell and was very much appreciated. I would love to come back!!!

At Sapunaya, we were delighted by several standout features. First and foremost, the hotel's location was truly exceptional, making it easy to explore and enjoy the surrounding area. The hotel exudes charm and character, which added to the overall appeal. It felt like staying in a place with a unique personality. One of our favorite aspects was the private garden, providing a serene and secluded space to unwind and enjoy some quiet moments. Such a beautiful property run by the a very friendly host. This guesthouse was our favourite place in all of Japan. Kiyoko made us feel welcome from the very start, and looked after us throughout our stay. Breakfast was very good - including fresh baked western style bread. We also had dinner there one night which was incredible and very affordable. A short bike ride into town and to nearby restaurants. Highly recommend.

The place is very nice, awesome views from the restaurant and the room. I got a western-style room upstairs which had an amazing light and could hang out on the balcony. Very neat and tidy, clean. The staff was veeery nice and could accomodate my vegetarian diet, and let me tell you ! The food was delicious. They were very keen to help me figure out a program for my stay as well. It's a very very nice place and the owner is so lovely. Thank you again for that wonderful stay

Everything. The rooms, the garden, the place itself are simply beautiful. The staff has been more the helpful, providing me any kind of information: diving centers, activities, restaurants (they also brought me there and picked me up) and how to reach the accomodation. Also, a beautiful beach is 5 mins walking.
