very big and completely furnished apartment, with a relaxing atmosphere. The hosts were absolutely amazing!! The owner runs a restaurant downstairs and the food is marvelous. Star restaurant worthy.

Staff were wonderful before and during our stay. Good communication and very helpful. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice. Fresh and locally sourced where possible. A delightful, tranquil location interrupted only by chimes from the bells from the local church (stops at night!), birdsong and cuckoo calls. Gignese has bars, cafes and restaurants and is within walking distance. Stresa with its lakeside promenades, shops and many restaurants is 15-20 minute drive away.

Spent 5 days with Luciano & Pia at their beautiful house. Very welcoming couple who provided every comfort. The rooms were big, very comfortable & spotlessly clean. We enjoyed some evenings in the lovely garden, so relaxing after days of exploring the amazing area. The train into the mountains of Switzerland is quite an experience & close to this location. Lake Maggiore is 5 minutes drive away. Everything you could need is close by. We can't wait to go back in September.

Delicious breakfast with local products, fresh baked homemade bread, and a perfect cappuccino. The older gentleman serving breakfast was a highlight of our stay! The hostess, Erika, greeted us upon arrival and gave us a warm welcome with a tour of the property and made sure we had everything we needed. The suite was large and spotlessly clean, and well appointed with with everything you could want (including a mini fridge with still and sparkling water, a kettle and selection of tea, hair dryer, towel warmer). Beautiful balconies, soft large towels, perfect hot water, and very gracious hosts! Also close to hiking/running trails. 10 minute drive to Stresa/the shore of Lago Maggiore, which is incredibly scenic with tons of restaurants and other things to see and do. Perfetto posto per cominciare nostra vacanza! Bellissima notte di dormire e il migliore collazione per un buon mattina!

Ca Pinotta is a lovely BandB located in a small lovely village high in the hills above L Magiore. The room and facilities were very good. The mother and daughter hosts were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and there is on site parking. The location is away from the bustle and traffic of being alongside the Lake, but close enough to visit by car.

Just on the fringe of Stresa a beautiful property on top of the hill, that has an amazing view of Lake Maggiore and the 3 islands. The room and bathroom was very spacious. Includes a couch and inside dining table and table and chairs to sit outside. Would highly recommend staying here.
