Great location for Kelimutu. Very sweet landlady. In nice weather, you have a balcony looking over the whole village. There’s a very atmospheric bar/restaurant about five mins away that does really good live music. We got invited to a local holy communion which was a crazy introduction to local culture. Very welcoming local community.

Hans, Emelda & family really made us feel like we were at home - from inviting us to their Son’s celebration one evening, tending to our injuries after we took a fall, arranging buses for us, and organising for their Nephew Anton to show us around his village. Just crazy, crazy!! Didn‘t know such a luxury, boutique like but still hip and friendly place would exist on Flores. Was definitely worth the money! The owner even organized us a 'catch of the day'-dinner at a little local fish restaurant of one of his friends right at the beach.

The owner is so sweet, always ready to do everything to make our stay better. The family members helped us to find drivers to go to Koka Beach, and invited us to join a family dinner. We had a wonderful stay and cherish this place. Room was spacious and clean, hot water in the shower. 100% recommend!
