Superb room with a great view over the Solway Firth to Scotland. Honesty bar with fantastic prices, relaxed garden setting and a superb pool and leisure facility. As good a full English breakfast as you will get anywhere. Our hosts were great company when we chatted over breakfast. A fantastic stay.

Staff were friendly, approachable, helpful, my son and girlfriend came to have a meal with us, they are vegan and vegetarian, the chef was very helpful and although there was nothing on the menu for them the chef created two meals which were excellent

Wonderful responsive host who was extremely accommodating. The room was spacious and had everything we needed for a weekend stay. Locations was perfect for us just a few minutes from the beach and really accessible for the west lake district. Would definitely recommend.

    Stunning old Georgian manor house with a beautiful spacious windy staircase, very historical feel. Lovely cooked breakfast as well as fresh fruit salad and home made bircher - nice touches! Nice spacious bright bedroom with stunning views over the garden. So quiet and away from any busy roads Janet was a lovely host and very knowledgeable and helpful with local restaurants
