Shower was decent, although the shower head could do with replacing. Erm.......The location was good due to the proximity to the pub the Bird in the Hand (cheap food, good beer)

Comfortable...ancient ...Wood beamed hotel/ pub, pleasant ,efficient staff, very clean.....Excellent breakfast. All excellent.

This hotel dates from the Tudor period, but the inside reflects the very best in modern design. It is featured in the film Four Weddings and a Funeral, as well as the TV show Midsomer Murders.
