This is the best place that I've stayed at in all of Latin America. Apart from it being very economical, it is perfectly situated only a few meters from the centre on a hill with magnificent views, 360 degrees. I had a really nice room on the 3rd floor with beautiful mountain views and fast, stable WiFi. The bed and pillows are very comfortable, white sheets and plenty of blankets. The kitchen downstairs is massive and is the most equipped I've ever seen. The staff here are so kind and friendly that they go out of their way to help you. It's very peaceful and silent at night. The few dogs around rarely bark, and not for more than a minute or two during the day, so a perfect place to relax or work online.

Secure parking for our motos inside the hotel with an easy access (room for a few cars, too, but in one line). Very good value, price lowest in town. Room comfortable. Could use dining area for PC. Location two blocks from tourist area, so quiet, no qualms walking area. Wifi ok. And a simple breakfast included.

A fantastic experience! Luis is very friendly and attentive, and even gave us a ride to the Otavalo market. The breakfasts were great and the dinners too. Great hosts and very comfortable room with excellent shower! Highly recommended!!

Authentic, beautiful old hacienda, set in delightful sloping grounds, with views to mountains either side. We had probably the best room, no 7. Lovely public rooms. Very helpful staff. Nice vibe. Excellent location. We had 4 nights and could have managed a fifth. The rim walk around the crater lake Cuicocha was one of the best day hikes in our life 10/10 wow. 5 hours solid walking. Horse riding and Condor centre also good - 8/10. Otavalo market OK 7/10 and worth going to on a Saturday but. Food was so good we didn’t bother to eat in Octavalo.

Very nice view of Lake San Pablo and ideal starting point to hike Warmi Imbabura. The host and his family are extraordinarily nice and helpful. The daughter prepares a delicious breakfast, and the son brought us hot water bottles in the evening. Patricio even drove us to the nearest bus station to Quito. Muy recomendable!

We absolutely LOVED this hotel. The staff were so warm and welcoming and the location is fab, right in the heart of town! The hotel has so many little seating areas dotted around each floor we felt really comfortable and at home. There’s a great top floor terrace with views to the mountains where we could sit and relax with a beer, we used the kitchen to cook dinner which is a huge bonus for us backpackers and it even provided the essentials like salt and oil for us to use. The rooms are simple, very clean and we loved the traditional colourful blankets and curtains. I honestly couldn’t recommend this hotel enough. Thank you Team Andariego for such a lovely stay.
