Theresa was very friendly and helpful, I loved the room which was comfortable, nicely and simply furnished, with big windows and a lot of light. Had a good breakfast. I enjoyed my stay and felt safe and comfortable as a solo female traveller. There is a convenient honesty box system for drinks and snacks. Convenient location in Amstetten city centre, close to the train station.

Made a stop here on a bike tour. Very friendly service, I was able to store my bike safely here. The place (hotel + restaurant) is actually rather big, for a village the size of St. Georgen. Very good value for money. The rooms are a bit dated though. Bed wasn't very comfy. Some black out curtains would be nice. Breakfast is included and the selection at breakfast is pretty decent. The service at breakfast could be more attentive though. I wasn't able to get hot water for my tea from the machine, and no one ever came by who I could ask about it. For the restaurant: they brew their own beer, which were Good, but there were some issues with tap cleanliness. Not that many veggie options. I had a pizza, which was just Ok. The mushrooms for the pizza were canned though, which is a no go for me. Overall good value for money place

This was the best accommodation during my 7-day trip through Austria, cycling along the Danube. The hosts were very kind and helpful, yet discreet and unobtrusive. The room was spacious and modern, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast, which was included in the price, was absolutely perfect. There is also a kitchen available for cooking. Best value for money on the entire trip.
