Loved the location. Great room. Friendly staff. Breakfast was average. Hotel was very clean. A/C was excellent. Beds were comfortable.

Situated between Lake Superior and Duluth Harbor Basin, this waterfront hotel is nestled at the foot of the Duluth Aerial Lift Bridge. Free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV are provided in every guest room.... The location is absolutely perfect! Such a unique experience to be that close to the lift bridge and to see the ships pass through. Also, we arrived late and the gentleman who checked us is was fantastic!

Hosts Alicia and Aarron are very friendly, helpful and attentive to our needs! The lake was clean and there's a loon family living there. We had so much fun swimming by the shore and also kayaking in the lake looking for the loon family and also the sunrise behind trees. We got to see other wild lives there such as deers and otters. We love the peace and beauty of the place. We like the fact that there are not many cabins around the lake and there were few occupied during our stay (Mon to Tuesday). We love having a full kitchen and a dock for ourselves - to be shared with cabin 3 but there's no one there. We love having the choices of kayaks, paddle boards and paddle boats to use (no additional charges) as well as pontoons for renting. We like the fact that the resort has a lodge providing freshly cooked meals.
