Sitting on a terrace sipping wine, enjoying the sunset while watching passing wild duck (or geese). Very nice sunny room. Not to forget the funny and informative receptionist. So in total good value for the money.

The instruction book left for guests was very helpful and served as a great resource. Plenty of the basic supplies including dishes/silverware. The firepit on the beach will fully stocked wood supply was excellent.

This is such a wonderful home on lake Pocotopaug. We are almost afraid to give a review because we enjoyed our stay so much, and we are sure we will be coming back again and we don’t want too many people to know how good it is because it won’t be available then. The house has a beautiful view to the lake, especially nice is the upper deck. The house is equipped with canoes and kayaks, and you can swim from the dock. The kitchen has everything you need or want, including a lovely dinner table with view to lake. Kitchen with large refrigerator, stove, oven and there is also a gas grill just out the door. Basic items for cooking like salt, pepper, spices, sauces are also provided, which is very convinient. Multiple TVs and Alexas in almost every room and even one on the porch outside. Everything is very clean and modern. The coffee/tea corner has everything including a nice Nespresso machine. There are also plenty of towels provided, also a washing maschine and dryer is available. The host Kris makes you very welcome , and in their welcome book you find everything about the house, places to eat , things to do. We hope to come back soon.
