The beach is huge and romantic and if you take a short walk to the end of it, you can get a great view over Pico Cao Grande. Since there are no restaurants nearby, it’s worth taking dinner at the hotel. I had the most amazing home made food here! Breakfast is simple but nice and there is real coffee! The room was spacious and very clean, there are mosquito nets over each bed.

It was the clearest place we stayed during our whole stay in the country! Our flight was leaving at 7 am, but we got coffee and fruits at 4:45. Thank you so much! Mucumbli was for us extraordinary for different reasons and it was just not the houses, restaurant and territory, but all these people we talked there, who were our guides and drivers and those with whom we planned our days on the Western coast from our home country. And those who dealt with our changing desires while being there. For example: we found out that we couldn't ride mountain bikes in the heat of Africa. And we chose not to rent a car to drive south as we had planned back at home. Instead, we toured with a driver and went to Porto Alegre by boat. I recommend this 3.5 hour boat trip to anyone who loves the sea. To see this beautiful island from a far is so special. Especially the S-W part of it, which is without roads and very few people live there and all of it is covered with primary rainforest. To Amaro, our Northern Coast tour and Water Tunnel hiking guide, we are especially grateful. Tt was fun and interesting with him. The same goes for the guide ( sorry, cannot right now recall his name, but he was also English teacher as Amaro) who led us for two days from Bom Sucesso over the mountains and in the forest to Chamiço. And the next day from there down to Agostinho Neto. This was simply wonderful. Thanks to Mucumbli we saw a lot of country, experienced different surroundings, had a fun time walking in the nature and talking about the history of the country and everything concerned the life of people there. But what concerns Mucumbli as a place, this is beautiful, spacious, clean, tasty, charming. With good food and mood. With very lovely people. Stay with them and use their knowledge and guides to discover this beautiful-beautiful island. We are very grateful!

I was picked up from the airport. The hospitality was top tier. I enjoyed the pool and the proximity to the airport.

The food was always amazing and so fresh. The lodge was extremely peaceful and in close proximity to some of the nicest beaches of the south. The staff were phenomenal and made my stay that much more special. I ended up extending for an extra three days because I didn’t want to leave! Will be back.

Domus Guesthouse mempunyai kolam renang luaran, taman, teres dan restoran di Santana. The breakfast is personalized instead of a buffet. I didn't even have to request it. Soon after I sat at a table I was served by an ample sort of food. Local fruits, ham, cheeze, and more. I tried several kinds of brewed tea. For those that love lemon, I suggest to try the Chalela tea :). The location is slightly away from the city center, about 5 minutes from car. This both gave me a calm area for sleep and relaxation, and made it quick to get there whenever I needed, which suited my needs perfectly.

Emoyeni Gardens provides beachfront accommodation in São Tomé. This property also boasts a restaurant and a year-round outdoor pool. All rooms are fitted with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels.... Probably the most accommodating host I’ve ever met! Alex responds to messages almost instantly and is incredibly helpful—whether it’s arranging airport pickup or recommending a local tour guide, money exchange - she’s got us covered. Our flight was delayed by two days, and she kindly adjusted our check-in dates without any extra charges. The place itself is so cozy—it honestly feels like staying at a grandma’s house (in the best way!). The bed is super comfy with a proper blanket and adorable bedding. Everything was spotless. Rooms are pretty spacious. There’s also an amazing restaurant just a 10-minute walk away called O Pirata—it looks simple, but the food was absolutely incredible. And if you’re in the mood for a bit of fun, there’s an old-fashioned casino just a few minutes away.
