The whole building is stunning and clearly demonstrates pride of ownership by Barbara and her husband Gregor. Our room was stunning, spacious, and very welcoming. A lot of care has been put into making this home ever so functional, with electric windows and shutters which even close automatically when it rains! The wood throughout is stunning and creates an environment of luxury and warmth at the same time. There is absolutely no doubt that if we ever come back to Bled - or have friends or family that does - that we would recommend this place with our strongest and most enthusiastic endorsement!

I've stayed in many hotels (from top to bottom of the spectrum) in my many years of traveling, and none, i can recall, exceeded their's for quality and diversity of offerings. Jani with his sense of humor and willingness to go the extra mile along with his wife's attention to detail, made for a memorable stay. Sometimes one gets lucky. This was one of those times.

The breakfast was great and had quality products, the rooms were clean and spacious and next to the lake as well. The staff were kind and fast as well. Would visit again!

Guest House Čarman has a wooden rowing boat that you can rent and visit the island in the lake. You can also take a tour around the lake in a tourist train. beautiful place and location. Also so kind staff. wonderful food

Right in front of Hotel Starkl - Heritage & Unique, guests can rent boats and visit the wishing bell on the island. Fishing, horseback riding and skiing can be enjoyed in the surroundings. The centre of Bled can be reached in 1 km. The hotel was super! It's a 100 year old (although doesnt look like it) hotel with modern facilities. It has quite a story to it. Located right by the lake and next to the bus stop - public transport is a bit of a problem in Bled so, this was a big advantage. You can go for a beautiful walk by the lake, take a boat to the island, or explore the nearby restaurants right outside the hotel. The view from the window was delightful! The staff were kind and helpful. The breakfast was delicious with a decent spread. The restaurant was awesome!
