They only rent out two rooms making this a very intimate visit.

Located in Särnaheden in the Dalarna region, Knappgården is peacefully located amongst nature and ski areas. Free WiFi access and free private parking are available. We spend a great weekend, the room had a good size with an private entrance that was great for the dogs. The bathroom had shampoo, conditioner, soap, heated floor and towel warmer. The small kitchen in the room was great to heat food. The breakfast was very good, with fresh croissant and different options of meat. The hosts were very welcoming, helped with a lot of tips on what to do during our stay, always friendly and ready to help.

Our hosts, Chris and Tom, were super friendly, chatty, and genuinely caring—we really enjoyed their company. The property itself is lovely: very clean, calm, and with a beautiful view from the room. It truly felt like home. The room, bathroom, and toilet were all perfect. The only small point is that the room isn’t very soundproof, though we were lucky to have quiet neighbors. Also, there was no hairdryer in the room. The shared kitchen is big, fully equipped, and kept spotless. Breakfast was more than satisfactory—we had it all four mornings and were very happy with it. It’s comparable to what you’d get in a good 2–3 star hotel. The surroundings are wonderful, with a small scenic lake nearby and plenty of outdoor activities available, such as biking, e-biking, canoeing, ... Overall, we were truly satisfied with our stay. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back!

Overlooking the River Lillån, this family-run hotel is quietly located in central Orsa. It offers a private bridge, a breakfast room with river views and rooms with free WiFi. Friendly, helpful, welcoming. Modern rooms with excellent facilities and very good breakfast. Close to main E45 road with lovely walks from the door. Great value for money.
