I contacted Christina, she promptly replied and said no problem, I am booked out for the next few days but pop in and have a Coffee. So when I arrived the next day I did that and popped in, met Christina had coffee and thought what a shame I missed my opportunity to stay here. We'll lucky for me, one of the customers had to leave for Bucharest unexpectedly, Christina then suggested would you like to stay still, is said Yes please, my stay with Christina in her beautiful home in such a unique biodivese area was a real highlight of my time on the Danube. Christina arranged a local guide to take four of us out on a boat trip exploring this magical place, after a day of exploring I come back to a homemade meal with fresh fish polenta & vegetables & a cold beer with my name on it. Famous Local Sturgeon soup the next night, Christina is the Hostess of Sfantu Gheorghe if you are lucky enough to stay there I highly recommend it.

Our reception at Vis de Vara was very welcoming. We had all the necessary equipment to cook and serve the meal, plus there was breakfast and dinner, and for dinner if you wanted something other than fish to be cooked for you, Mrs. Mirela (the owner of the guesthouse ) was very flexible. We didn't have a car but Mr. Gigi and Mrs. Mirela offered to do our shopping countless times. The name Summer Dream is perfect because it really is a Summer Dream. The morning was nice because I had a drink coffee and at the same time we were also fishing, we entered the room only when we were going to sleep because it was very nice to enjoy nature and the shade that the trees offered despite the infernal heat. We also made new friends. At the end of the vacation Mr. Gigi (the owner) he helped us with the transport to Jurilovca. We will definitely come back with love.

We liked the cleanliness and the hospitality of the owners. They greeted us on a hot day with freshly poured glasses of cold mineral water and made sure that we have everything we needed. We had a little bit of internet problems but for compensation they shared another internet access with us. Everything was nice, clean and comfortable, the garden was beautiful and we pity we didn't have more time to enjoy sitting in this garden under the big sun protection umbrella or even making a barbecue in the grill.
