I decided to make an exception and stay at a hostel (instead of getting a private room with bathroom at a hotel) because the vibe and personality of this place are just so awesome!! I ended up paying for two persons for a doubleroom, just so that I could have a private room all to myself. Great stay! Excellent customer service -Fantastic location!! P.S. after I checked out, I was supposed to do a 4 day/3 night Expedition tour from El Nido to Coron (booked through another company). When the expedition got canceled and I had no place to stay (because all accommodations in El Nido were fully booked), the girls (Ellen, Marielle, (and Celeste)) were going out of their way trying to help me find a place to stay on the island. I genuinely appreciate the care that they showed the whole time. I feel genuinely valued and cared for, not only as a hotel guest but as a guest of the Philippines. Thank you, Happiness Hostel and staff!!

The Funny Lion - Coron boasts of an outdoor swimming pool, an open air bath featuring natural views, and dining options on-site, this 4-star resort is 1.5 km from Mount Tapyas and 6.5 km from Kayangan Lake in Coron. WiFi is available for free throughout the property. The staffs are why we enjoyed so much of this stay. The hotel is nice and clean has everything we need, but the staffs are more than helpful. We had so much requests like going to hospital, pharmacy, joining tours and having a meeting room to do calls. They do all they can to help us and being super friendly. We really enjoyed our stay.

Facing the beachfront, Morgan Villas offers 4-star accommodation in El Nido and features a garden, shared lounge and terrace. Featuring a bar, the hotel is close to several noted attractions, around a few steps from Caalan Beach and around 100 metres from El Nido Beach. The accommodation provides free shuttle service, room service and currency exchange for guests. The hotel is amazing and the staff extremely friendly, always showing an incredibly well disposed attitude. A couple of days before our check-in they contacted us to coordinate our pick-up from the airport. We explained that we were staying in another hotel in Corong Corong and they arranged everything to pick us up from the other hotel as soon as we came back from a hop island tour. The hotel itself is beautiful and the view you get either from the rooms/villas, the bar or the seats on the beach even better. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options to choose from and you could even choose to have it on your room, the bar or the beach area. During our first morning the owner of the hotel, Carlos, came to greet us and introduce himself. He was very nice and gave us some recommendations on things we could do if we were not going on a hop island tour! The hotel also offers kayaks and motorbikes. We used both and everything was in great conditions. We also went to the gym that is only a 5 minute-walk from the hotel, all covered. On the morning of our departure, the staff made sure to prepare an early 6.00 AM breakfast for us so we could have enough time to eat before leaving for the airport at 6.30 AM. We really appreciated it! To sum up, staying at this hotel contributed to the perfect ending of our stay in Corong Corong/El Nido. If we ever go back to El Nido we hope we will find a room available at Morgan Villas because we absolutely loved staying there!!!
