Wild Thyme is situated a 15-minute walk from Oneroa Village and a 35 minute ferry ride from downtown Auckland. Free WiFi and free private parking are available. The hosts, Bruce and Jules, were very welcoming and friendly. They were always available to help and answered any questions we had. Great service. Room was clean, comfy and had everything we needed. Very good view and good location. Just a few minute drive to most places we wanted to visit. The complimentary bottle of bubbles definitely enhanced our stay. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to have a nice, relaxing stay at Waiheke.

Well located just a short walk to the Oneroa shops and restaurants....and a couple of wineries, guest laundry, great local info....couldn't ask for anything else! Menawarkan WiFi percuma dan pemandangan taman, Manuka Cottage Oneroa adalah penginapan yang terletak di Waiheke Island. This is a sunny, warm two bedroom cottage, in a central location - an easy 5 minute walk from the centre of Oneroa village. Rooms are light and bright, and the bathroom is fairly new and immaculately clean (as is the whole cottage). There is a heatpump for cooler days and good airflow with open wndows for hotter days. The cottage has a good deck for evening use during summer stays and a garden area in the front which is surprisingly private. The road itself is quiet and the whole experience is restful. The road is close to AT bus routes, so getting around without a car is pretty straightforward - it is a short run from the ferry terminal on the main bus route, for example. Decent sized fridge/freezer and a microwave in the kitchen. No oven but there is a portable double element unit in the cupboard for cooking with.

The location is perfect—right in the heart of Oneroa village and just 1km from the ferry terminal. It’s super convenient to get to many attractions on the island, whether by taxi, bus, or even on foot. Veronica was incredibly friendly and gave us all the information we needed for a smooth stay. The highlight was the stunning sea view from the bedroom window—it was absolutely breathtaking! If we visit Waiheke Island again, we would definitely stay here.
