Our vacation started at once we landed in Male. Representatives of Stay Mikado helped us with all the logistics, since we had to stay overnight in a local hotel for an early next morning speedboat trip to Thimarafushi island. When we got to Stay Mikado, Ameen and his staff took very good care of us for the whole duration of our stay. Ameen and his staff are amazing in hospitality and care for every need. The hotel is situated at a local island and we had a nice and clean double room with breakfast, lunch and dinner included. The food was very tasty and we ate with good appetite. The hotel also has a small gym, SPA room, and on the rooftop there is a large terrace if you want to relax and also with a nice view of the island, where you can enjoy the beautiful sunset. Hotel WiFi is good. Across from the hotel there is a leisure area where you can play table tennis, billiards and some other games. There are free bikes for the guests to use. Stay Mikado has a tourist beach just a few minutes away. We visited it a lot and had long baths in the warm water. Everyday from the hotel you can go by boat on different excursions to nearby islands - snorkeling, diving, fishing and surfing. Prices for the trips ar very reasonable too. The hotel owns a private island that is a must see and is really worth a day trip, including bbq and beautiful beaches, stand up paddle boards, glass bottom kayak etc. Ameen and his staff at Stay Mikado will go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and relaxed during your stay in Thimarafushi. We had a really nice vacation and would like to recommend this hotel to people who wants to see the real Maldives.

Room was clean, spacious and had A/C. The staff (Roshani) was absolutely fantastic… very gracious, helpful and always a smile :) The owner, Ahmed, went above and beyond! Assisted with many questions and booked my boat to and from Male. Very helpful. Thimarafushi is a small, quiet island for relaxation, and snorkeling day trips.

Finimas Residence mempunyai basikal percuma, kawasan pantai peribadi, lounge berkongsi dan restoran di Thimarafushi. Just about everything! The accommodation was excellent. Good size bedrooms, comfortable beds, ac and fan, covered spot to put surfboards away. The staff are amazing, the girls (Bidi and Rose)are just incredible! Always happy, organized, and cook super well. The captains know the surf spots very well and are super ok to help with photos! Ahmed made us feel welcomed and help us in many ways with ferry tickets to other islands and accommodation. Everyone is always helpful and friendly. The island is beautiful, of course the plastic is a problem like other islands, but I'm sure the council has a plan to fix it soon. The surf spots are incredible! Three surf spots just around... Only one for beginners !
