Brixia cafe & Guest turned out to be a perfect choice of location and comfort for our stay in Galle. It was close to the fort which we were able to walk to easily from the small hotel, and also a 5-10 minute walk to the train station. The hotel has a very relaxing atmosphere. Our room had a large bed excellent air conditioning and a large attached bathroom. There was a large balcony area, which was excellent for viewing the neighbourhood and also for hanging our washed laundry. The breakfasts are truly gourmet. On our final day we had an early start as we had a 7:15 AM train to catch to Colombo. We were very appreciative of the staff arranging for an early breakfast before our departure. Overall our stay was the first class experience.

This hotel was the highlight of our trip. We booked it for our last days here and we ended up extending. The place is detailed and beautiful. Super chill vibe, especially by the pool and little walks around the property. They have a restaurant and we got addicted to the curry and paratha. The hosts are amazing and were the most welcoming people we met throughout our trip. Major attractions were a few minutes away by tuktuk. The whole staff of this place made our stay beyond amazing.

Spacious rooms, bathrooms, terraces, wonderful rest area, organization. Big mirror in the room, a lot of storage space. Enough time to get enough sleep and get a very nice breakfast from 8 till 12.

I liked the practicality of the the concrete finishes on these builds. They had there own personal tuk tuk driver which was rather convenient given the location isn’t on a main road. They have a sister company (Amaroo) which is located on the beach which they suggested and was also fantastic.

Everything about this hotel was amazing. They upgraded our room and went above and beyond expectations. It’s an intimate hotel with friendly staff, great location and is impeccably maintained. Wish I could stay longer.

Villa Rumassala Luxury Chalets Unawatuna mempunyai pusat kecergasan, taman dan teres matahari dengan kolam renang dan sarapan kontinental di Unawatuna. I had a fantastic 7-day stay at Villa Rumassala—and I loved it so much that I extended my visit by another 10 days. I was based there while completing a medical elective at a nearby hospital, and the villa offered the perfect balance of comfort and tranquillity. Tucked away from the main road, it felt like a peaceful retreat, complete with a serene pool and fresh towels provided daily. The Villas are located about 15 min walk from the main Unawatuna beach and shopping/food area or a short tuktuk ride to Jungle beach (unless you're ok with walking up some steep hills!). The rooms were spacious, exceptionally comfortable, and featured modern, spotless bathrooms. I particularly appreciated the communal kitchen area, which included a kettle and a washing machine—small touches that made a big difference during a longer stay. There was 24/7 security, making me feel safe throughout my stay. There was also a small gym that was open 24/7, however it did not have aircon which might put people off using in the Sri Lankan heat! What truly made my time unforgettable was the staff. They were incredibly warm and welcoming, always making sure I had everything I needed. I was even invited to join in the Sinhala New Year celebrations—a beautiful and memorable experience. A special thank you to Sasini, whose kindness and attention to detail ensured I was comfortable throughout my stay.

The structure is perfect! Once you enter you will never want to leave! The owner is the kindest and most altruistic person you will meet during your trip. All the staff are super helpful (they picked us up at the station and picked us to the main road several times) The services are always clean, the kitchen is very spacious and well served, the owner has also provided tea and several infusions for every need, all of high quality. Relaxing outside will be a must! More than in a hostel I felt like I was staying in a 5-star hotel !! 😍 The owner also made us do meditation and for my birthday they also organized a wonderful surprise, I couldn’t ask for anything better, we felt like family, we can’t wait to come back!

Villa Sea View mempunyai penginapan yang terletak 1.9km dari pusat Galle dan menawarkan taman dan restoran. WiFi percuma tersedia di seluruh tempat penginapan. Darshi and Oshi were excellent hosts. From the minute I arrived it felt like home and Darshi made sure I had the best stay possible. Even though I only stayed for one night it was a very wholesome experience. I enjoyed our conversations a lot and Darshi cooked a delicious meal for me. Thank you for everything!
