If you are coming here the navigator will send you through the old town which may not be legal at some times i would guess. When you arrive there is a fountain do no turn right there, go left on the church side and up the wall a bit which should be on your left as you drive, take the first turn and then it will bring you to the arch, the hotel is just there inside as its part of the city walls. The city is big enough so there is a good choice of places to eat but later in the evening We wanted a base to explore the region and this was perfect.

Our apartment was spacious yet homely (especially with the fridge full of breakfast treats when we arrived). Monica and all the staff at the resort were simply wonderful. The pool area is amazing. The restaurant served stunning food - pizza and meat were particularly good for us. We even got a take away pizza after a long day to eat in our apartment. We would definitely go back.

Lagolivo was absolutely stunning. It was very close walk to the lake. If you have kayaks or something to use, it is super convenient. The salt water pool on the property is so clean and beautiful. We played everyday in the pool and did laps for exercise. It was about 5 minute drive to the centro and so quiet and peaceful.

Two separate apartments. The pool was fantastic. Great views over the lake in an evening.
