The location was stunning. Alan, the host, was very welcoming and great craic. Loads of nice little touches such as the sunset time so we could make sure we didn't miss it. Blankets were provided to be able to sit out and watch the sunset on the balcony. Tea and coffee facilities are in the room and way above and beyond on the toiletries. Q tips, sanitary pads, wipes etc. Obviously had guest comfort in mind. Lovely breakfast in the morning to set you up for the day. Thank you so much Alan and it was lovely staying with you! Couldn't recommend enough.

Featuring a Thai restaurant and tearooms, the Kells Bay House is set on 40 acres of unique gardens with subtropical plants. Best hotel I've ever stayed in. It's more like a retreat than a hotel. Four or five quiet comfortable bedrooms in a stunning, peaceful location, with its own private path down to the bay, and prize winning gardens where the sound of running water fills your eardrums. I felt totally renewed after one night there and I cannot wait to go back.

The Smugglers Inn overlooks the sandy beach at Ballinskelligs Bay. Most rooms have sea or mountain views and the hotel has a bar, a gourmet restaurant, free WiFi in all areas and free parking. Beautiful location practically on the beach. Amazing views. Rooms Beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Wonderful food but most of all the exceptional staff I couldn't praise them enough so kind and helpful. Lovely Lovely people. Great barman, pulls great pints up for the craic and a bit of banter. Absolutely love this place and I will continue to return here as I have been doing for yrs. You really won't be disappointed ❤ Thanks to everyone at the Smugglers Inn.

The perfect drive for those who want away from the busy cities! We were very fortunate to have stayed while the skies were clear and all the stars were visible! Micheal was very welcoming and an amazing host!! I cannot express enough the amazing work he has done to have such a beautiful property. Loved the bee habitat too!
