Helmi and his wife and family are so nice. there's even a tofu restaurant small business in the front of the homestay, very cute. it's on the beach which is great, easy to rent snorkel gear (about 50k/day) and a motorbike (also about 100k/day). right next door to Blueshark diving, Dion and Jeffrey and the crew here are awesome. The snorkeling is also nice right at the reef at the property, just swim like 50-100m out (takes 5 mins). Amazing sunsets. Room is simple. A bit hot in the mornings. There's free coffee/water/tea. Bathroom is simple, just 1 bathroom shared with 3 rooms. i hope to stay again!

The location of the property is the best spot for self snorkelling and they have boat trips for daily snorkel and scuba points with realy good staff and boats are not crowded. This is a family owened bussiness and thanks to Jerry and Wileke they answered all my questions patiently and helped me during our stay. It was very nice listening Jerry's singing with his guitar on the beach. They also have a beautiful large tropical garden.

I chose to do my open water certification here and I really enjoyed the attention to detail and top quality teaching from Patrick, who also supplied some high quality photos (for a fair price) at the end. Since everything else was booked out I was happy to land at this new resort. The food from the chefs was incredible. Managers were very hospitable and helpful with organisation. Made the stay worth it!

The units will provide guests with a fridge. What a gem! We’ve traveled a lot, and this place has probably the most curated and naturally beautiful beach we’ve ever visited. The service is at a really high level, the staff is extremely friendly, kind and helpful. Everything is perfectly curated, and we were spoiled from the moment we stepped in. Snacks are served morning and afternoon, and we had to tell them to stop brining us (delicious) food. Main meals are fresh, locally sourced, and delicious. The manager, Toki, is highly experienced, and even took us strolling around and exploring the nearby area. He joined us several times at the table, and at the end, we felt we were part of their family. Thank you Toki, Micheal and all staff. Leaving this hidden paradise was extremely sad. We will return for sure!

There is a private bathroom with shower in all units, along with free toiletries and a hairdryer. Sun moon was a fabulous location not far from Bitung and right on the beach. The accommodation and communal spaces were of exceptional standard as was every meal. The hosts are super friendly and welcoming also great to spend time chatting with. Can’t recommend sunmoon enough and look forward to returning one day.,
