Charming family owned guest house, absolutely fabulous food like you won't find elsewhere on the island. The family helped us out w transport and anything else we needed. Definitely recommend staying there,, we would come back!

We loved our stay at Kuda Laut on Siladen Island. The location for snorkeling is top-notch, as you can swim right off of the beach into water with beautiful thriving coral gardens. We saw more species of coral and fish than we have anywhere else, as 97% of Bunaken Marine Park is underwater. The resort is into sustainability and gives you a free cup of coffee if you collect a bag of plastic. We enjoyed playing pool at the outdoor pool table, as well as long walks around the island. When it is low tide, one can walk all the way around the entire island. A short walk to a nearby pier provides you with a gorgeous sunset every evening. We would absolutely love to come back to Kuda Laut one day.

Offering an accommodation with a dive centre, Happy Gecko Dive Resort is located on Bunaken Island in North Sulawesi, just steps from the island’s world-famous beaches and diving sites. The location of the property is the best spot for self snorkelling and they have boat trips for daily snorkel and scuba points with realy good staff and boats are not crowded. This is a family owened bussiness and thanks to Jerry and Wileke they answered all my questions patiently and helped me during our stay. It was very nice listening Jerry's singing with his guitar on the beach. They also have a beautiful large tropical garden.

Blending nicely with the countryside, in a relaxed and family style atmosphere, Raja Laut Dive Resort offers bungalows built with wood from coconut palms. Breakfast excellent- crepes, eggs, fruits, real fruit juice, cereal. Very large portions Location! House reef easily accessible just snorkel 50m infront at high tide & there’s a wall reef! I saw sea snakes, turtles, many fish Dive/ snorkeling trips - not a diver but new freediver, I felt very safe in the ocean, saw many many turtles, sharks, sea life. 12 euros for the trip if you bring you your own snorkel mask & fins, otherwise it’s possible to rent for extra. If you’re not a confident snorkeller be mindful that the guide goes with the divers so you will most likely need to stay near the boat. However high probability you’ll still see turtles & nice fish, corals etc. I had issues with my ears & needed to leave early & although I had already booked an extra night I was not charged which was very kind!! I’ll be back again for sure! Super comfortable, beautiful spot

A modern yet traditional and tranquil place to stay while visiting the Lembeh and Bitung area. Pak Alex and his team are ever attentive and helpful. Alex accommodated changed dates and flights etc despite Booking.coms useless customer support. The rooms have recently been refurbished, the hot water hot and everything is spotless. The view over the busy but picturesque Strait is fantastic. Having lived in Indonesia 25 years ago I can honestly say that the food is a good as any home cooked food anywhere with great variation. Sign up for the full catered option. The other house staff are equally helpful and will happily run an errand to pick up supplies as the place is a tad isolated- even they don’t ask or expect don’t forget to tip. While in the area we did some Muck snorkelling with Ibu Feronika from Rumah Selam who operate near bye-it was awesome. Feronika can also help with highland and nature park tours, plus transport to and from Manado. Can highly recommend.

My homestay hostess Aci prepared wonderful meals that were well balanced and portions were plentiful. She spoke superb English and was instrumental in securing opportunities for snorkeling trips and all the necessary equipment which was my intended focus. The neighborhood where her homestay house is located provided a true Bunaken Island village experience. Bunaken Marine Park and boat access is right in the back yard as the property is on the water.

Very cute and simple homestay! The location on the beach is very nice and mamalis is a very good cook. The couple will help you to rent a scooter or organize snorkeling trips and there is a good diving center next door. It might be cheaper to only book one night and then extend the stay, since they charge less when it's not on this platform. Communication is through translator app and the neighbours,but it works well!

Dengan kawasan pantai peribadi dan teres, Coco Divers & Homestay Bunaken mempunyai WiFi percuma dan terletak di Manado, kurang dari 1 km dari Pantai Pangalisang. The twin room is beachfront while the double room is streetside. I recommend beachfront, of course, it has a better view but also less noise from the roosters that are across the street. The double room has more indoor space, and big outdoor sofa bench, if that's what you need. It's right in the kampung village, so it's absolutely susceptible to more noise and activity; but it's also closer to the main pier and other restaurants. Lucky is a fantastic host, and the family puts a lot of care into the homestay. It's simple but very clean and cozy. There's many small thoughtful things about the place, it's an easy place to stay. The food is different every day, and it's easy to ask if you do/don't like something. Communication is very clear and prompt. The reef out front is a long swim before you see anything, but it's nearly the same with other places.

And they cooked THREE meals each day even though the listing only mentions breakfast, no extra cost..
