We wanted somewhere different to spend Christmas and came across Valhalla house online, the house was as amazing as it looks in the pictures and was right on the beach that you have to yourself! The house was clean & comfortable and had everything we needed - water, towels, cooking facilities etc! As the island was quite remote we were struggling to find how to get there and get around but Marcelo, the host, went above and beyond to help us out with flights and ferries. His communication was great, and he gave us some great food recommendations as well as a contact for surf lessons, which we all really enjoyed on Christmas day, and was just so helpful with all of the questions we had! Marcelo also put us in touch with a local, Dolman, who drove us to and from the airport, even though the roads were bad he made it so easy for us to get around by providing bikes at a really good price. Overall we had an amazing stay at Valhalla and would recommend it to anyone who wants a relaxing time on a paradise island, surrounded by local culture, beautiful beaches and lots surfing!!

Bob and everyone working there are such lovely and welcoming people! Right at the beach, awesome sunsets, and good food! Also the beach break and the reef in front are actually super fun surf. But we also had a scooter provided by Bob to get to all other surf spots. Highly recommend staying here, would always come back!!!

If we needed anything, we simply mentioned it to the owner, and he arranged it without hesitation. The hospitality was exceptional, making our stay truly enjoyable. Thank you for a superb holiday!

We stayed here at the end of september as non surfers for 5 nights to relax after Bukit Lawang / Berastagi / Lake Toba. This place is truly paradise, beaches so beautiful we have only seen in dreams before. Only a few meters from the bungalows, which were pretty, very clean and comfortable. Owner Iker en manager Javvi and all the other staff were super friendly and helpful. The food was very good as well, you could tell and taste they put an effort in every dish! Rented a scooter to explore the island and visited perfect deserted beaches and went swimming in the sea at the beach on the resort every day. We really had an incredible experience at La Belle Hollow trees.

It’s so social, which you really want since there’s not much fun on Sipora. We ended up eating dinner with almost everyone every night, which was really nice. For surfers they arrange boats every day and even when you’re not surfing you can do a beautiful boat tour or take a motorbike around the island. So cool!!
