They made me feel like at home, we had nice conversations and it was a great pleasure to stay with them for some days. My room was huge with a big balcony directly above the water - very cool! The location is not in the Flores Island but in San Miguel - so if you search for a calmer non touristic area that's your choice! From Flores it is easy to arrive with a small boat in about 5 mins. Also recommended to book the tour to Tikal etc. and transports with them, they offer for a good price. And it is helpful to know some Spanish as their English is limited (but Julio is learning!) 😊 muchas gracias 🥰

The grounds are beautiful, the buildings are unique and practically sculptural pieces of art, the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and there is an onsite restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner just for guests. El Remate is a lovely town wrapped around the lake, and Posada del Cerro is at the quiet end but still within walking distance of the main center.

The whole experience, right from the greeting to our departure was very positive. The owner and his family were very pleasant and most helpful. The room had a nice balcony area with a good view and comfortable hammock. Everything was spotlessly clean.

Zapote Tree Inn is located less than 16 minutes from Flores' airport and 4 minutes away from Flores island by boat, located at a privileged point to appreciate sunsets and sunrises overlooking the... Being on San Miguel, you get to have the best view of Flores at all different times of the day surrounded by beautiful plants. Staff are all lovely, especially Noa, who went out of his way to make sure everyone was happy; and the vibe is chilled, relaxed, and easy. It is on a bit of a hill so may not be ideal for people with mobility issues.

This charming hotel is located in northern Guatemala’s Petén Jungle, on the shores of Lake Petén. It offers fantastic trips to the Mayan Ruins of the Tikal National Park. The whole property is so well maintained, absolutely stunning location. Staff were exceptional. Food was delicious. Extremely clean and had an amazing stay. Will definitely come back!

It has a chill vibe and a fantastic garden and small swimming pool where to chill with an amazing view over Flores and the lake. It was recently completely renovated and it is starting again after it had closed down during COVID. All the beds and linens were new and the place was very clean. The owner and Don Mario were super welcoming and flexible with my arrival and departure time, allowing me to stay a lot longer to accommodate my bus schedule. I spent a chill day sunbathing and swimming and slowly exploring the restaurants around for the meals. There are boats continuously connecting San Miguel to Flores so you don't miss out on what the island has to offer, but you have very resting sleep.

We stayed in the double room which is right on the lake and really enjoyed making use of the terrace area. The breakfast was lovely, freshly prepared each morning. Getting to the accommodation was easy using the private boat and the host always left to pick us up as soon as we asked.
