Located on the Ile d’Oleron, the Hotel Île De Lumière offers direct access to the beach. It has an outdoor swimming pool, a tennis court and many other facilities. The location is picture perfect, literally. It is on the western coast of the island, so if there is a sunset, you would see it. On our days, it was rainy, but that simply brought a different kind of beauty. The beaches were mostly empty - we had them to ourselves. There are several ways to get to the beach below, and all are an easy, short walk. Yet, the hotel is elevated, so you have a lovely view of the coastline. The room was light and airy, and very clean. There is plenty of storage space, and a nice shower with plenty of pressure. The bed was very comfortable, and there were room darkening curtains. The hotel was full when we were there, but it was still quiet. Breakfast is not included, but we found it to be worth the price. There was a lot of variety in the pastries offered, along with cheese, meat, boiled eggs, cereal, and fruit. We would recommend this place, and would stay again.

Nestled in the heart of La Rochelle and set in an 18th-century building, Maison des Ambassadeurs is just a 5-minute walk from the Old Harbour and offers a 24-hour front desk as well as a concierge... Raphael greeted us by attending to our car. He later gave us many tips and places to see and to eat. He was so very nice. Tiffany treated us to an upgrade which was so very kind of her. We were greeted with her friendly smile and warm welcoming followed with a glass of champagne. Such a pleasant entrance to our stay! The room was absolutely gorgeous. An entire area dedicated to coffee, hot chocolate, and a fridge with drinks, etc. The main room had a table, sofa, chairs, end table - all was comfortable and spacious. The bedroom was large! A king bed (super comfortable), end tables, a huge closet with robes and slippers. The bathroom off the room was also large! Nice lighting, mirrors, sink and wonderful shower.

Situated in the lively Saint Nicolas district in La Rochelle, this hotel is surrounded by antique dealers, bars and cafés. It offers free Wi-Fi and a conservatory with large sofas and tropical plants.... The hotel is so beautifully appointed and convenient. It was understated elegance. Very clean, very environment minded.

Matthieu is an exceptional host .He communicated well throughout the booking and our stay providing a lot of additional information regarding the local area. The room and bathroom were exceptionally clean and the room was very comfortable. Our breakfast was served by the pool and was delicious with homemade jams.

Location LA REBELLE - LA ROCHELLE B di La Rochelle mempunyai penginapan dengan WiFi percuma, 2.2km dari Stesen Keretapi La Rochelle, 3.2km dari L'Espace Encan dan 3.6km dari Parc Expo de La Rochelle. Beautifully appointed apartment, with everything we needed. You enter the apartment via a locked door at the top of a stairwell, straight into a small enclosed terrace, which provides a lot of natural light (note, there are no windows facing the streer). Once in the terrace you are faced by full height glazed sliding doors, kitchen/lounge ahead, bedroom to your right.. Unusual design, but very well executed, we loved it. It is about 25 minutes walking distance from the port, which is no hardship, and about 10 minutes in the car Appartment is located at the end of a small side street, close to a main road, you wouldn't realise that though, it was very quiet. Recommended, we would/will again.
