The new and spotless hotel is located in a remote location easily accessible by boat from the main pier in Barù. Our suite had three balconies, each facing the ocean from a different direction, sunrise from one, open ocean and shade from the other and sunset from the third one. The staff, including Oscar and Antonio, were great as well as the front desk manager, Jairo, who went the extra mile to made sure our stay was perfect. We highly recommend this place for its charm and relaxing surrounding.

Also excellent value - we got a 2 bedroom villa for roughly the same price as standard rooms at our very average Santa Marta hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at Bora Bora. The staff here were exceptional, especially Miguel Angel, who tended to our every need and made this experience extra special. Miguel was friendly, welcoming and attentive. Also, a special mention to Jorge who checked us in and organized our plankton tour. We also used their paddle boards and snorkels in the morning which was amazing. Highly recommend Bora Bora to anyone traveling to Isla Grande, we really didn’t want to leave!

Hotel Carey Beach Baru mempunyai taman, kawasan pantai peribadi, teres dan restoran di Barú. Menyediakan bar, tempat penginapan ini terletak dalam 2.4km dari Pantai Isla del Encanto. The location was fantastic- beautiful white sandy beach, ocean view from bedroom window. We especially liked that there was NO music playing or smoking allowed on the property - just the sound of the birds and the waves. Good choice for breakfast and all other food from the menu for lunch, snacks and dinner (large portions). Beach bar always open to buy drinks and cocktails. Beach was cleaned and raked every morning and there were plenty of sun beds and chairs plus umbrellas and trees for shade. The staff were friendly and helpful ( also patient with us as we have zero Spanish!!!). We recommend using their suggested transport options from Cartagena - Nando (taxi) and Christian (boat). We were able to rent a boat for a couple of hours to go snorkelling and touring the islands. N.B. There are fish and a sunken plane to see when snorkelling but sadly all the coral has died. Carey Beach was the nicest sandy beach BY FAR that we saw and there were spectacular sunsets every night!

Hostel Santa Cruz del Islote is located in the Corales Archipelago of the San Bernardo Islands, on the islet of Santa Cruz. Have a restaurant, bar and shared lounge. Very welcoming and made me feel like home

Hotel Calamari Baru mempunyai kawasan pantai peribadi, teres, restoran dan bar di Playa Blanca. The place is located just in front of the beach. I stayed there only one night. The room was like in the photos, the food was delicious, and the staff was helpful. The pick-up and drop-off by taxi went smoothly. I enjoyed my stay. It was not noisy as indicated in the other reviews. The only sound I heard was the waves' sound. Just a little note, all these hotels are located at the beach. There is no car access; if you do not want to carry your luggage after the taxi drops you, you need to request a carrier that costs 20.000 COP (or you can request the boat shuttle, cheaper than a taxi, faster, and drops you off in front of the hotel at the beach, but your luggage and yourself can get wet :) )
