We stayed for one week and everyday we felt very welcome and the owners were very helpfull during our stay. Not many times you can consider those running a pousada as friends but we felt we were like friends quite fast. We also spent some time together with the owners when we went out for a nice stay at a local natural pool. The owners went beyond what you could expect during a stay. Giving us lifts to the beach, waterpark and other locations. Also when we needed something everything was taken care of in a matter of minutes. On our way back we used the transfer to the harbor, a very relaxing way of transport. Since I'm a vegetarian and sometimes the options can be limited I thoroughly enjoyed the food I took with me was prepared for me. Also my family and I enjoyed the daily fresh breakfast with local cheese, bread, eggs, fruit and cake. The meals were also very good. There were some shows during and stay and we also enjoyed these. Even more because of the cocktails served and the lively atmosphere during the shows. The pool is also very good and John cleans the pool everyday. All in all a very nice stay and highly recommended if you inted to stay in Joanes.

Room was awesome and even it had Netflix! Nice to finish the end of the day! The owner CArlo!, was so accommodating, he was kind enough to bring me many times to the city always with the smile! Doing his best for the tours and recommendations. The breakfast was abundant : eggs fruits handmade bread and cake tea coffee fresh juice and delicious! The staff in kitchen was adorable and kind Really highly recommended and not too far by walk from the center I really enjoyed my 4 days there. Thanks hope to come back

Additionally, after a month in the Amazon, indulging in authentic Italian pasta at Villa Eden was truly priceless – unquestionably one of the best culinary experiences of our lives.

Casa Mineira exceeded our expectations. The hosts were fantastic. The house is located on the main street of the city and is a short walk from the beach. We really enjoyed our time there and enjoyed the breakfast too. The rooms were comfortable and air conditioned. We had a great experience.

This place is fantastic. If you go to Alter, stay here, it's clean, quiet, secure. Owners are fabulous and breakfast is interestingly delicious. Great TV and hammocks in the foyer. Highly recommended. You may even get the wild monkeys outside the window in the forest that wake you for breakfast.
