Set in the historic centre of Traunkirchen, at the shore of the Traunsee lake, Apartments im LOIDLs GUESTHOUSE offers a garden and free WiFi. Private on-site parking is available at a surcharge. The house consists of multiple apartments of different sizes. We were on the lower level, and in spite of concerns it would be cold during our winter stay it was very warm. In fact, the apartment is heated from floors, which means your feet stay warm too. Besides that… Kitchen is well equipped. Apartment is very clean and modern. Bathroom has new and high quality faucets. Traunkirchen is a very beautiful destination with a dozen of trails for hiking. The hosts were friendly. Unfortunately, we broke some glasses because it was a big company, but this was resolved in a very reputable manner. We would come back again!

Modern hotel with most if not all rooms facing the Traunsee lake. Modern room decor with all expected conveniences. Friendly, helpful staff. Convenient parking right outside the front door for a fee. Otherwise, free parking a short walk away. Great breakfast buffet, with an incredible selection of cheeses. Good communication lines between hotel and guest ahead of check-in date.

This traditional, family-run hotel offers a uniquely beautiful and very quiet location directly on the eastern shore of Lake Traun, a little outside the pretty town of Gmunden. Wonderful location, beautiful hotel, excellent hospitality. Congratulations to the management and the staff. The restaurant is highly recommended.
