The hosts, Heather and Don, were very welcoming and accommodated our requests. My wife asked for a yoga mat, and she was allowed to borrow not only a yoga mat but also a bolster, blocks, etc. Each day, we discussed the best hiking options and weather conditions. All of the suggested walks were uncrowded and beautiful. We learned about Whitianga culture, food, and the seas and rivers surrounding it.

The place was perfect! Staff was very helpfull and friendly, and the lovely gentleman even called us later after we left and told that we forgot our teddy bear in the room! The room was perfect and clean, and the beds comfy, we even saw orcas from the balcony!! Definitely going back to this place next time we are in Whitianga! 10/10!

The owners are so lovely! They are very welcoming, they have great knowledge and recommendations for coromandel. Furthermore, they let us borrow some shovels for hot water beach and they even let us borrow some beach towels all without any extra cost.

We stayed on the top floor in an apartment facing the ocean. I think it was number 8. It was perfect. We could cook our own meals in the well equipped full kitchen. It was well laid out to sleep a family of 4 and the beds were comfortable. We slept so well because of the black out blinds and lapping ocean just outside, My 22 year old daughter enjoyed using the trampoline and we both enjoyed the hot tub and having our meals on our balcony overlooking the beautiful view, The hosts were also lovely and very helpful with suggestions as to things to do. it was well located to walk and drive to different sites to visit in the surrounding areas. A nice bonus is it also had Netflix to relax at night with a movie, Because of the lack of noise and light pollution, star gazing was at its best. I would highly recommend this property.

    Location amazing. Incredible view, right on the beach. Beautiful for a walk in to town for a coffee in the morning. The owners were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Would stay again on next trip to the area, for sure!

    Truly magical location, how beautiful it was to fall asleep to the waves and to wake to the sunrise right on the beach. Incredibly comfortable beds, rooms and overall motel. Loved being able to walk to everywhere we needed - especially the restaurants nearby and the fish and chip shop just around the corner.

    Location was right on the beach, apartment was very spacious and loved the air conditioning as it was warm while we visited. Rooms were clean and owner was very flexible with assisting with check in time. Bed was very comfortable. Having a full sized fridge was nice too.
