The property is located in a beautiful neighborhood in Birgu (one of the three cities facing Valletta). Access to Valletta is very easy by taking the ferry (the landing is a just a 10-minute walk from the apartment). There is also a public bus service which takes approximately 30 minutes to reach the capital. In Birgu we took long walks around the harbour and the marinas, and explored the traditional architecture and narrow streets in the historic centre. This location is also perfect for day trips to various historic sites in Malta since everything lies within a short distance. And there is plenty to see given Malta's rich history going back thousands of years. Also of note…. the property has a lovely terrace on top with sweeping views of the harbour and environs and is extremely quiet and peaceful at night. Highly recommended!

Set in Cospicua, this air-conditioned apartment is 2.1 km from Valletta. The unit is 5 km from St Julian's. Free WiFi is available.The entrance boasts a high arched hall with an original stone carved staircase. The Egyptian theme of the apartment is very interesting. It gave a pleasant, unique vibe to our stay. The apartment is complete with traditional Maltese covered balconies. The entrance is from the narrow Triq San Gwann, but all the windows are to the wider Triq San Frangist that runs near the bay. The view from the windows is to the end of the bay that is basically a shipyard. The location is great, close to the ferry to Valletta. Since there were no guests before us we were able to check in early and that made a big difference for us as our flight arrived in the morning.

As a tip, you can take the bolt if you are a group a friends, instead of ferry to valleta. Also there is a store, across the street

It has been renovated recently and all the amenities are exceptional. The owners are very accomodating and helpful, catering to our every need. Everything was new, clean, and honestly in the best spot we could've picked to stay at. Having travelled through many neighbourhoods, Birgu was our favourite as a couple – it combined tradition and tranquility, beautiful townhouses and winding streets along with a close distance to the centre (about a 30 min travel). Also, the check-in was very easy and the apartment identical to the photos provided. Thank you for everything!

Looks exactly like the pictures and is a great new refurbishment. I was working and the little desk in the nook was perfect. Good local recommendations. Worth being aware that is quite a walk up from the ferry but there's a very close bus stop.
