I had an amazing stay at Tomo's Cafe during my first trip to Japan. This property is like a bed & breakfast where you are the only guest and have full access to the main kitchen. The cafe is not open to the public during your stay. Kaoru made the most amazing breakfasts every morning, so filling and delicious. She was extremely kind and patient with my lack of Japanese (we used a translation app to communicate). The private area upstairs is spacious. I appreciated the office chair and reliable Wifi so I could work at the desk. There is plenty of natural light. All of the furniture is very comfortable. The apartment was very clean and quiet, and it was convenient to be so close to the station. I would be very happy to stay here again.

So close to Matsumoto castle we could see it from upstairs windows. Only a short walk to the castle and old town. Beautiful traditional house and great facilities. Awesome Christmas light display on the castle at night.
