The apartment was very big and clean and the owner of the place was very nice and friendly, also provided good recommendation regarding walks near by.

Located in Funchal, Apartments Madeira Old Town are a 5-minute walk to the beach and to the Funchal old town. Lovely apartment with everything you might need for your vacation. The location is great, within walking distance of the old town, many restaurants and tourist attractions like the cable car and the boat tours. The communication with the staff was very fast and efficient. They helped us with our luggage on the last day and answered our parking questions within minutes!

This 4-star Funchal hotel is situated just 100 metres from the Atlantic Ocean. It offers 5 swimming pools, 4 restaurants and modern accommodation with kitchenettes and balconies. Amazing staff, garden, hotel room, facilities were topnotch, breakfast buffet was to die for and the gardens and swimming pool just wonderful. Lots of good restaurants along the promenade.

Set in São Martinho, within a 10-minute drive from Funchal, Vila Marta offers accommodation with a private terrace and views of the Atlantic Ocean and banana plantations. A great stay! We felt so welcome at Vila Marta! We chose it because we wanted to support local owners, and we were not disappointed by the warm, family-like hospitality. The room was spacious, very clean, well equipped, with a lovely view of the ocean. They pushed the beds together for us, brought us fresh bread every morning, and generally just went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at ease. The place is in a very quiet area, so sleep at night is peaceful, and there are buses nearby. We would definitely return!

Our stay at the villa was almost perfect. We really appreciated the absolute cleanliness of the room, its convenient location, and the hosts’ attention to detail. The delicious welcome gift was a pleasant surprise. The room had everything we needed for a comfortable long-term stay. The surroundings were peaceful and quiet, which was also very important to us. The only aspects that could be improved are the quality of the bed linen (it felt quite synthetic to us) and the water supply.

This property offers self-catering accommodation with free wired internet and some apartments have a private balcony in central Funchal. We spent two nights at Apartamentos Turisticos Atlantida and I can say it is a place I would definitely recommend. The location is pretty central in Funchal but at the same time we found it to be very quiet at night. The apartments are spacious and we found ours pretty clean with a fully equipped kitchen. They also have an underground garage that costs 7.50€ a day and I think this is a good deal if you have a car. The staff we met was welcoming and they explained everything on arrival. We had a great experience overall!
