Careful attention to every possible detail was visible throughout our stay. We loved the mix of older style comfort and modern amenities. The spa in the basement was a particular plus. And having a direct view of the Neuschwanstein castle was a highlight too - it was the first thing we saw in the morning and one of the last things at night. Breakfast was tasty too, and every request we had was fulfilled quickly and in a really friendly way. Wherever we’re back in the region we’ll be staying here again.

The Zugspitz Arena ski area and many sights such as Neuschwanstein Palace are only a short drive away from the travel house. Charming hotel with breathtaking views. We were upgraded to a spacious family suite with a beautiful terrace, stylish decor, and a fully equipped kitchen. The spa is fantastic, featuring an indoor pool and three saunas. Staff were incredibly friendly. Parking costs €10.

Residenz Hopfensee is located directly on the banks of Lake Hopfensee with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. The hotel offers a children’s playground and free WiFi.

The apartments at Residenz Hopfensee feature an open-plan living area with a sofa and flat-screen TV. Each includes a south-facing balcony with stunning views of the lake and mountains. Place location is fabulous, just right along the lake. Amazing views from window. Reception person is super nice and helpful. Big enough rooms.

The large, classically furnished rooms at the Appartement-Hotel Happy Kienberg offer excellent mountain views, and feature a living area and refrigerator. It was a spacious apartment with plenty of room for all 4 of us. It had a beautiful outlook from the balcony. It was in a great location - 20mins walk to skizentrum, 10mins walk to bus. Pfronten is a beautiful town and not as busy as Fussen. Host was great.
