I was looking for a comfortable place to stay overnight on my way to Boracay, and Hotel Plato de Ciudad was simply perfect. I arrived at night and decided to rest, have a nice meal, and cross over to Boracay the next day. I booked this hotel based on the positive reviews, and I can say everything was just as previous guests had described. The bed was extremely comfortable, the room very clean, and the bathroom spotless — definitely a 10 out of 10. There’s also a hair dryer available, which is always a nice bonus. The hotel has a restaurant with very affordable prices, and the food is absolutely delicious. What truly stood out was the service. The staff is incredibly friendly, warm, and helpful. To be honest, it was the best customer service I’ve experienced during my entire trip in the Philippines. The owner makes you feel right at home, and you can tell everything here is done with love and care. The whole team deserves a thousand stars! Staying here is definitely worth it — it’s accessible, cozy, and full of heart. I highly recommend it!

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The staff are incredibly friendly, yet give you all the space you need to relax and enjoy your holiday without feeling hassled. The food was absolutely excellent—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with love. We stayed in one of the charming huts, which made for such a unique and memorable experience. If you have bad knees or tend to wake up often during the night, I’d definitely recommend the single-story bungalows for easy access. The location couldn’t be better—right on a beautiful stretch of beach and just a short ride from the airport. It’s the perfect spot to unwind either on your first or last day in Boracay. we left Boracay to stay here on the last night of our stay, because we wanted to avoid the rush of the ferry ride, and be close to the airport. they also gave us a late check out of 6pm, to catch our flight at 8pm. the fee was only an extra 500 pesos. The resort also offers two kayaks (a single and a double) at a minimal hourly cost, which is a fantastic way to explore the little island right in front of the resort. great swimming directly out the front. amazing clear water. Overall, a peaceful, picturesque, and well-located getaway that I’d happily return to. Highly recommended!
