The beach is a short walk through the trail and there is a shop right in the corner that's open until midnight for any late night needs. I was able to find a parking spot close to the building every night during our stay. I was a little worried about noise due to its proximity to the domestic airport but that turned out to be a complete nonissue. The owner was great and made sure we really enjoyed our time in Reykjavik.

The property was impeccably clean, beautifully & very tastefully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail was thoughtfully considered to the smallest details, making it feel like a home away from home. The location was perfect—conveniently situated near Reykjavik (10mins drive) and was a great location to kickstart all our sighting tours/drive to the Golden Circle, and the other parts of southern of Iceland. One of the highlights was the spacious bathroom, which was a real luxury—plenty of room to unwind and relax after a day of exploring. The kitchen island was another standout feature, perfect for both cooking and socializing. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring we had restful nights and woke up refreshed and to a great view each morning. Free parking, with it's close proximity to our stay is a huge bonus. Edda, our host, is the most gracious and generous person ever. Her warm hospitality made us feel right at home. She was incredibly responsive, attentive, and yet provided us with all the privacy we needed. We could not ask for anything more. The cleaning staff are absolutely exceptional. the minute I would step out of the shower, they would be in there with a mop cleaning up the floors of all the water. They also cleaned up constantly after guests who seemed to think the rules didn't apply to them and that they could just leave their dirty dishes and leftover food scraps wherever they felt like. The cleaning staff are the standout of this place!! The bed was comfy, the rooms were nice.

Plenty of room, very comfortable beds and furniture, and kitted with a full kitchen. The location was perfect for walking to shopping and restaurants, and pools! And parking was never a problem, although we did walk most of the time. I did forget to take photos. Loved that they dressed it up for the holidays. Had plenty of books and guides on Iceland. Also had a nice booklet on local restaurants and pools! That was extremely helpful!

Had a great 2 night stay here while exploring what Reykjavik had to offer, Walk into town was super easy and we always found free parking outside the accommodation. The accommodation itself is well laid out and all rooms are a good size, Beds are super comfy. Would definitely stay again.
