Glenegedale House offers accommodation in Glenegedale and is situated 5 miles from Port Ellen and 6 miles from Bowmore. Each room includes a flat-screen TV. Beautiful house, lovingly decorated and maintained. Food was fabulous- recommend the porridge!! Hosts were gracious. Very clean. Ample parking.

Quaint and quirky coastal Cottage Islay, tempat penginapan dengan taman, terletak di Port Ellen, 9-minit berjalan kaki dari Pantai Kilnaughton. Overall, the cottage was a win. We booked it to stay with friends and their family and while we all had to share the one bathroom, once we figured out who was sleeping where, it was fine. The cottage is close to Port Ellen, though we did drive into town it is walkable. We also walked to the singing sand beach and square lighthouse. The host was super helpful, communicated via email and WhatsApp, and they even responded to inquiries/messages after we checked out.

Location is perfect, especially if traveling with public transport, near the port, near the restaurant, and a minute from the bus station. Room we stayed in is beautiful and the whole property is nicely decorated and cozy. And the breakfast was exceptional - both savory and sweet :) But above all it is the host that made our stay unforgettable and delightful as it was. Niall, thank you for everything :)

Amazing property next to the ferry terminal. The room was spotless and we had an ensuite bathroom so that was quite nice as well! I noticed some other rooms had a private bathroom outside their room. The staff deserve extra recognition for their hospitality, they checked in on us often and even informed us of a ferry cancellation that let us book another slot. The kitchen/pantry was well stocked and had a microwave to heat up takeaway food. The garden at the back provided an amazing view of the bay.
