We chose Heronshaw House as it was very near Bournemouth airport and we stayed the night of arrival and again the night of departure which was very convenient. The house and gardens were very peaceful and all you could hear was birdsong. Our rooms had everything we could possibly need and the beds were very comfortable ensuring a good nights sleep. We enjoyed a lovely farmhouse breakfast cooked by Mike who couldn’t do enough for us and was so helpful. We would certainly return here if flying into Bournemouth again.

Nestled on the edge of the New Forest National Park, the Avon Causeway Hotel is just 1 mile from Bournemouth Airport. With a bar and a restaurant, it is 10 minutes’ drive from Christchurch. We stayed a night and the food was fantastic. Can recommend the chicken pie. The breakfast was lovely too. Friendly staff and clean room with fresh milk for tea and coffee.
