Perfectly positioned to make the most of the Australian outback, Sails in the Desert is just a 5-minute walk from the Uluru (Ayers Rock) lookout and is a great spot to take in the desert sunrise or... It's nice comfy place with good atmosphere. We like it very much. It's better to come here with the car, free parking. petrol station is near. The gate of the national park 4 km, 3 min drive. The tickets to the park better to buy on this gate. You can pay cash or card, 38 AUD per person for 3 days. So you can come and go several times, visit Uluru in the morning[it's 16 km from the gate,15 min drive] and sun sat point in the evening and next day Kata Tjuta in the morning and its sun sat point in the evening[44 km from the gate].All of this in that money. If you are without the car you will need a bus from the hotel,45 AUD per person for 1 visit and pay by credit card only!

Situated less than 15 km from Ayers Rock, The Lost Camel Hotel offers air-conditioned rooms and an outdoor swimming pool with sun terrace. Everything. Nothing to complain about! Except the heat, but that’s something you can’t control so I have no complaints. ☺️
