Located 3.1 km from Beinan Cultural Park, Rice Resort Hotel provides rooms with air conditioning in Taitung City. We had a family room with a slide. The kids loved it. There is also a complete floor dedicated to kids stuff. This was really awesome and they enjoyed it a lot. Free parking.

This place understood the concept of B&B. Breakfast is served in the room, the bed is very comfortable, everything was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. The manager is a very, very nice person, when we told him we were leaving early in the morning - he made sure to bring us breakfast earlier than usual and make sure we were okay on the way out. We really enjoyed the room itself. It was very private, and we felt comfortable staying in the room during a typhoon (and really enjoyed our stay). In addition, there is the option to take a bike and ride into town, we did not use this option but it is possible.

The location is only a few minutes walk from train station and the dircetions were veyr clear on how to get there. The staff were very helpful and the place was lively with other hikers and travelers. They offer free bike use which was veyr nice to go and see parts of the city.
