Bill and Pha took care of us, gave us recommendations, provided DELICIOUS breakfast, and opened us with warm and open arms. Lovely sea front bungalow, wonderful atmosphere and lovely hosts. We had an amazing time at the Tropical and we loved our 5 nights stay. Both the structure and the island are relaxing and a good way to spend a few days living a slow lifestyle surrounded by nature. The bungalow is simple but well designed and equipped with everything you may need. The common space is big and have tea/coffe and water available all day and night. The view is stunning.

My stay at Kachong Hills Tented Resort is easily one of the best holidays I've had. The hotel is done up so tastefully and the service was also fantastic - all of the staff were extremely personable and thoughtful - I felt extremely taken care of. I stayed in the marquee tent as well as the double room (with mountain view) - completely different experiences but fantastic all the same. The visit to the waterfalls next door (in the Botanic Gardens) is also a must. There isn't much to do in the area but it doesn't matter: this is a perfect place to just unwind, recharge and enjoy the peace and quiet. I wish I could stay longer. I will definitely be back. PS: I travelled solo but felt very safe!
