This lodge near Volcanoes National Park is a true hidden gem and one of the best experiences I’ve had while traveling. The location is unbeatable—just a short 15-minute drive to the gorilla trekking meeting point, making it incredibly convenient. You’re completely immersed in nature, surrounded by lush greenery and breathtaking volcano views that make every moment feel surreal. The lodge itself is done with impeccable taste and so much attention to detail—from the beautifully curated plants and decorations to the cozy, inviting atmosphere. I was welcomed with a lovely souvenir gift in my room, which was such a thoughtful touch. The room was stocked with everything I could possibly need: tea, coffee, plush bathrobes, slippers… it felt like home, but better. At night, the staff even left a hot water bottle in the bed—such a comforting detail after a day of adventure. The food? Incredible. Breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, and dinner was just perfect every night. The common area with the fireplace became a nightly ritual—great music, warm fire, interesting conversations, and a cozy ambiance that made it hard to leave. Joachim, the host, is an absolute star. Friendly, responsive, and so informative—he was always ready to help with tips, transport arrangements, or anything else we needed, always at a fair price. His warmth and hospitality really stood out. Oh, and let’s not forget the little things: the team cleaned my muddy shoes and gaiters after trekking (lifesaver!), and the lodge is also home to an adorable family of cats and a sweet dog who made my stay even more special. I couldn’t stop petting them! This place is paradise. Peaceful, welcoming, beautifully run, and surrounded by the beauty of Rwanda. I’m already dreaming of coming back. Highly, highly recommended

Menawarkan pemandangan gunung, Future4Kids Kinigi Guest House By Isange paradise resort di Kinigi menawarkan penginapan, taman, lounge berkongsi dan teres. This is one of the best places i have ever stayed. The location is very close to the volcanoes national park center, the house is beautiful and well structured, the caretaker is amazing and even the possibility to order (super tasty) dinner from the main hotel is a great add-on. Of course, all of this is topped by the fact that staying here means you support a very nice organisation, which is doing a remarkable job. This is one of my most straight-forward recommendations, there is no way i am back in Rwanda and don’t visit it.

I am not sure anything I would write would do justice to this place.....The real luxury came from the Staff at Sambora. They are simply unique and impossible to forget. Their kindness, communicative smiles, generosity, attention to details, their joy (the dancers put a smile on your face from the moment you arrive), talent (the Chef is wonderful), and sympathy....I could go on and on.

The hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive to our needs. They went above and beyond for us. It was truly an incredible experience staying at Urugano Virunga Palace. Everything was fantastic, and we could not have asked for more.

Volcanoes Over View Safaris & Camp mempunyai taman, teres, restoran dan bar di Nyarugina. The people working here are awesome! They are so helpful and friendly! The owner, Michael, is also awesome and one of the only Rwandese hotel owners in the area. The views from the premise are also beautiful. Definitely recommend staying here!

Virunga Inn Resort & Spa mempunyai pusat kecergasan, taman, lounge berkongsi dan teres di Kinigi. Hotel 4-bintang ini menawarkan khidmat bilik dan khidmat concierge. The resort met all my expectations and I was impressed with my stay. The welcoming was superb. I was offered an upgraded superior room which was super clean and specious with great amenities. The food was what i expected and the indian Chef Mr Vinod did a great job in preparing my vegetarian meal. All staff were super friendly and everything was taken care of. I will definitely return to stay at Virunga Inn.
