Three House Hotel mempunyai kolam renang luaran, pusat kecergasan, taman dan teres di Funchal. We travel a lot, around the world, and this was by far the best hotel we ever stayed in. The most hotels are all the same no matter where you are. But this hotel stand out in every way, not sure we can mention all. It seems like that the management asked themselves : what do guests really want - and they found every little detail. Beside that all the basics are outstanding, this hotel exceeded in so many ways. The staff is exceptionally helpful, friendly and knows the answers to all questions or requests, no matter what. Both Marcio and Sidónio were excellent, always there for us. The small details everywhere around, the possibility to wash cloth, the provided purified water, we could continue endlessly. The interior of the whole hotel is stylish and the apartment too. The rooftop is a dream, the pool is warm in winter and we swam 1000 m nearly everyday. We stayed for 3 weeks in December, and when not hiking the mountains, we spend the days in the hotel, on the rooftop just enjoying life. The sustainability level of the hotel is high, and there is no plastic at all. The jazz concerts in Wednesday were a spoil! We ate at the restaurant at least ones per day, delicious every single time. Since we do not rent a car but use public buses (try it!), the location is perfect, just 5 minutes from the bus station, and you get easily around. The vibe and atmosphere is so smooth and relaxed. For us it really was a home, and we booked already our 4 weeks stay next winter.

Terletak di Funchal, 9-minit berjalan kaki dari Pantai Almirante Reis, TURIM Santa Maria Hotel mempunyai penginapan dengan kolam renang luaran, tempat parking peribadi, lounge berkongsi dan teres. Breakfast was excellent. The location was superb - considering three methods of transportation: by car, by bus and walking. Everything worked fine and the staff was willing to help you with all your questions. There is only few parking spots (15€/day) available at the hotel (located in the neighboring lot) but the staff gave an excellent advice to park your rented vehicle in the public car park (5€/day) just 3 blocks away. The rooftop pool and bar were a nice addition to a top quality experience.

Featuring free WiFi, São Francisco Accommodation is a renovated building with 6 floors and a lift. It offers modern rooms in Funchal, within a 5-minute walk from the harbour. It's a small hotel in the historic center walking distance to a lot of the places you would like to see in Funchal. The room and facilities are simple, modern, comfortable, and clean, The staff are polite, friendly and very helpful. The breakfast (included in the room price) is basic but sufficient for my needs, with a variety of breads, cereal, cold cuts cheese, hardboiled eggs, yogurt, fruit, coffee/tea etc. The AC in the room worked well. I would happily stay here again if I returned to Funchal.

Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Casa das Proteas is located at Estrada das Covas nº8, São Jorge, Madeira Island, 50 km from Funchal. The location is excellent as a starting point for several hikes. Very friendly staff and owner, great breakfast and homemade dinners. The house overall is amazing, its very pleasant to stay there. Rooms are spacious with fully functional kitchens, if you want to cook by yourself. There are also garden with benches and a pool with a good view on the ocean.

Featuring stunning views of the north-east coast of the Island of Madeira and the surrounding mountains, this 4-star hotel offers rooms with free Wi-Fi and a balcony. The reception staff were very helpful and welcoming. The room was a decent size, with great views of the sea and mountains. The facilities were very good, with an indoor and an outdoor pool. The view from the cliffs was amazing. Breakfast was excellent, with friendly hotel staff and a good selection of breads, cereals, cooked food, fruit, cheeses and so on.

Super location, high on a cliff overlooking the town and ocean. An easy walk through the town and to the waterfront. The meals were excellent. For breakfast you can have the buffet or order cooked items from a menu, or both. The dinner menu is outstanding with a wide range of options for fish, meat, and vegetarian, and everything we had was delicious. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Our room had a small balcony with a view overlooking the ocean. The bed was comfortable, and the firm pillows we requested were perfect.

Situated in a restored 18th-century home, Casa Da Piedade offers a lounge with fireplace, outdoor garden with barbecue and brightly decorated rooms. Wi-Fi and parking are free. We liked everything. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff amazing and caring and breakfast was delicious. We even asked for breakfast to take away earlier one day and they prepared it for us.
